No, there is no limit to how many requests you can have when subscribed to the Happy Workload Subscription. You are able to add as many requests in your queue as needed and they will be addressed one by one. If you need more help than usual, you may stack multiple subscriptions for a month. This way, you can get all the benefits of having an experienced engineer without taking on extra overhead or needing a large budget.

HappyWorkload can work with any company/AWS account based anywhere in the world except for India, China, and AWS GovCloud.

At the moment we are supporting only workloads running on AWS.We will support you with hybrid initiatives (on premise + AWS) or multi-cloud with requests that would have to do with required design, implementation and configurations on the AWS side.

This will be dependant on the request type, the level of support and the efficiency you would expect from us. While some tasks could be performed with read only access, some other might require elevated permissions to view and make changes to your AWS account(s). Even when allowed to create, delete, modify, or suspend resources, our team will perform these actions only having a plan that will include actions, scheduling, fall back plan, etc. approved by you.In the end, it will be up to you and your team what will be the level of access you will be providing, on the case by case basis.The type of permission and access level required for us to perform tasks on your AWS account(s) will depend on the request type. Our team may require read-only access for simpler tasks, while more complex requests will require elevated privileges in order to view and modify resources. When given the authority to create, delete, modify, or suspend resources, we will always have a plan approved by you that includes details about the process, scheduling, fall back plans, etc. Ultimately, it is up to you and your team to decide what level of access will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

The following AWS services are not supported under the Happy Workload Subscription: Quantum technology; Robotics; Satellite; Game Development; IoT; BlockChain; AWS FIS; Red Hat OpenShift on AWS; AWS Apache Airflow; AWS Wickr; and AWS SimSpace Weaver.Anything else, you’re covered.

Code development for your application; We are taking request for developing scripts around the infrastructure management and operations tasks, such Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Lambdas and others;

We are not performing any code reviews for your code development activities, no matter if it’s for functional QA or security testing purposes;

We are not taking QA requests related to regular testing of your application, as part of the SLDC (software development life cycle). We may implement CI/CD tooling for testing your application, before a PR merge to a main branch or before a deployment to production; You will be responsible for defining and writing the test code use cases;

We are not taking requests for security oriented code testing; We may implement CI/CD tooling for security scanning of your application’s code though;

We are not taking requests for debugging your application code.

On average, most requests are completed in just two days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer. We will provide updates and communication on the progress of each request, from intake to planning the implementation to the actual delivery following the checks post delivery.

You will usually work with the same engineers but another team member who is better suited may sometimes replace them when necessary in order to expedite job performance and deliver quality results.

It's perfectly okay if you only have one request. Don't worry about wasting the rest of your subscription; you can pause it until you need more help. Then, you can just resume again when needed.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refunds due to our commitment to providing excellent service (as our clients can attest!). If you feel something did not go quite as expected, please let us know and we'll do our best to make it right!

At Happy Workload, we provide a range of ways to request service via Trello. You could link Google Docs, LucidCharts or Loom video to your requests. Whatever your preference may be, any method of sharing that can be linked or added to Trello is welcome. As part of our commitment to continual improvement of your presence on AWS, we offer ideas for AWS-related service requests that could benefit your business.

While we believe our service is supposed to continuously evolve your architecture, operations and support of your workloads on AWS, we understand that at times you may not have enough work to fill up an entire month. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.

Billing cycles are based on a 30 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 20 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.
